NPL 2026 tickets: planning your day at Kirtipur
Last updated:
There is something about watching cricket at Kirtipur that a screen cannot quite give you. The noise after a wicket, the flags in the crowd and the conversations between overs are part of the day. If you are planning to go to the Nepal Premier League this season, the first thing to get right is the ticket.
The 2026 tournament is scheduled from October 26 to November 21 at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. CAN has announced general and premium ticket prices, with eSewa handling sales this season. That is different from last year, so check the year on any ticket guide you find before following its instructions.
What tickets cost this season
For league-stage matches, the announced general admission price is Rs 500 and the premium price is Rs 1,000. For the Eliminator and final, the announced prices rise to Rs 1,000 for general admission and Rs 2,000 for premium. Those figures come from OnlineKhabar’s October 23 report of CAN’s announcement and are also reported by Kantipur on October 22.
The reports use the word “premium”, not a separately confirmed VIP category. They do not describe every benefit attached to that ticket. Before spending more, read the event listing for the area or seat it covers rather than assuming that premium includes food, shade, parking or a reserved seat.
The same announcements specifically identify the higher prices for the Eliminator and final. They do not separately explain the price for each qualifier or an opening-day surcharge. Check the exact fixture listing for those games instead of applying a previous season’s tariff.
Where to buy a stadium ticket
Start in the official eSewa app or at eSewa’s website, and look for the current NPL stadium event. Kantipur’s October 22 report says sales were to begin through eSewa that evening. Ratopati’s report of the announcement gives the announced opening time as 8pm on October 22.
That is a sales announcement, not a live inventory check. We have not verified how many tickets remain for any match. A comment saying “sold out” might refer to one game or one category, so use the actual listing to see what is available when you book.
Before confirming payment, take a moment to check the date, fixture, admission category and final amount. If you are going with friends, make sure everyone is buying the same match and the intended section. Read any fees or conditions shown by the seller rather than assuming the headline ticket price is the only detail that matters.
Keep the booking confirmation and transaction reference until the ticket is available and your entry is settled. If money is deducted but the booking is unclear, check its status with eSewa before paying again. This page is a guide; we do not issue tickets, reserve places or take payment.
Do not confuse a streaming pass with entry to the ground
Both products can appear alongside NPL branding, and both can be paid for through eSewa. They are still very different purchases.
The NETTV NPL Season Pass is for watching online. eSewa’s own October 9 guide lists Rs 400 for the Nepal streaming pass and explains how to redeem a viewing coupon. That is not a stadium admission ticket.
If you want to go to Kirtipur, the listing needs to be for the stadium event and the match or admission period you intend to attend. A NETTV coupon will not become a ground ticket simply because it says “NPL season pass”. If you would rather watch from home, our Watch page covers the legal television and streaming options.
Going on a double-header day
Two games on the same day can make a trip feel especially worthwhile, but do not assume that one ticket admits you to both. The dated price announcements reviewed for this page do not establish the double-header coverage rule.
Read whether the listing is for one match, a session or the whole day. If that is not clear, ask eSewa or the organiser before buying. The same applies to leaving the ground between matches and coming back later; we have not verified a re-entry policy for this season.
A fixture time is also not a gate-opening time. Check the latest organiser notice and your ticket instructions when planning the journey. Leave yourself time for travel and entry checks rather than treating the scheduled first ball as the moment to arrive.
The small print worth reading
If you are bringing children, check whether they need their own ticket and whether any age-based concession is actually offered. The sources we reviewed do not confirm a universal free-entry rule for children, so it would be misleading to promise one.
Likewise, confirm the seller’s instructions on identification, displaying the ticket, permitted bags and items, and any transfer or name requirements. We have not verified the 2026 rules on these points. Save the ticket in the format the organiser accepts and make sure you can access it on the day.
Weather is another reason to read the conditions. A rain delay, abandoned match and cancelled event are not necessarily treated the same way. We have not established a stadium-ticket refund policy from the current announcements. Ask about the terms before purchasing, and keep the receipt if the schedule changes.
There is no confirmed early-bird offer in the sources used here either. A discount or whole-season admission pass advertised elsewhere should be checked against the official event listing, including exactly which games and category it covers.
Make the ticket part easy, then enjoy the cricket
Be cautious about buying screenshots or tickets from strangers in social comments. You cannot tell from an image alone whether a ticket remains valid or has already been passed to somebody else. Use the official seller and keep your booking details private, especially any scannable ticket or access code.
Once the booking is sorted, check the match centre for fixture context and the squads to see who could be taking the field. For the trip itself, follow the organiser’s latest venue and entry notices. The aim is to arrive knowing which game you have booked, where your ticket admits you and what you need to show.
This guide was checked on October 23, 2026 using the linked reports of CAN’s ticket announcement and eSewa’s published streaming information. Announced prices are not a guarantee of remaining availability, and the seller’s current event terms take precedence. We have not completed a ticket purchase or tested stadium entry.
