NPL 2026 Match Timings: Evening Games Now Start at 5pm
Evening games have moved from 4:30pm to 5pm. Here is the simple version, plus the time in India and the UK if you are watching from abroad.

Quick one, because a lot of people are going to get caught out by this.
If you saved the fixture graphic that came out in September, the evening times on it are wrong now. NPL 2026 evening matches start at 5pm Nepal time, not 4:30pm. CAN made the change a few days before the season, and Republica reported it on 20 October.
The new times
On a day with just one match, the game starts at 5pm.
On a double-header day, the first game is still at 12:30pm and the second one is at 5pm.
That is really all you need to remember. Two slots: 12:30pm and 5pm.
If you are outside Nepal
Nepal is five hours and 45 minutes ahead of UTC, which trips everyone up. In India, take 15 minutes off: so 12:15pm and 4:45pm. In the UK during winter it is 6:45am and 11:15am GMT. For the Gulf, a 5pm start in Kathmandu is 3:15pm in Dubai and 2:15pm in Qatar.
Why you will still see 4:30pm online
Plenty of schedule pages were made from the original announcement and never got updated. Nothing sinister about it. If two sources disagree, go with the later one.
Opening week
The season opens on Sunday 26 October with Lumbini Lions against Sudurpaschim Royals at 5pm. On 27 October we get the first double-header: Biratnagar Kings vs Chitwan Rhinos at 12:30pm, then Karnali Yaks vs Janakpur Bolts at 5pm.
If you are heading to Kirtipur, leave early. The roads around the ground get busy, and you do not want to hear the first roar from the bus. One more thing: a ticket for one game of a double-header does not automatically get you into the other, so read your ticket.
Our today's match page always shows what is on today in Nepal time, and the full fixture list has the rest.
